Kashmir News Network outraged at latest massacre of innocent Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir
Kashmir News Network is shocked and saddened by the latest massacre of Kashmiri Hindus at the hands of Pakistani terrorists. There is plenty of blame to share between India's central government and the state government of Jammu and Kashmir for lack of action against both the sponsors in Pakistan and the local proxies who carry out ISI directives. The new state government's appeasement policies have only strengthened the resolve of terrorists to intensify ethnic cleansing and target pro-India elements in the state. The central government, on its part, has shown even less capacity of tackling terror. At a time when the US policy of pre-emption is being applied to Iraq, India's Deputy PM L. K. Advani is talking about visiting the US to discuss Pakistan. Does India expect President Bush to take care of its national security? If so, PM Atal Behari Vajpayee should renounce his post and welcome a US viceroy as the new leader of India.

It is clear that the Kashmir problem of terrorism, exported by the world's premier terrorist sponsor Pakistan, will not be resolved by either Indian impotence or the appeasement policies of state leaders who are themselves tainted by previous dalliances with Pakistani terrorists. At the most, the Indian government will make louder noises in the run-up to elections, and even send its army to the border for a meaningless deployment that will be withdrawn after elections. In the meanwhile, nearly 400,000 Kashmiri Hindus remain in limbo in degrading refugee camps, and naive international media refers to the state as "Muslim Kashmir".
