Kashmir News Network (KNN) congratulates BBC

Kashmir News Network (KNN) congratulates BBC on their superlative performance with the interview of JKLF leader Yasin Malik on July 20th. There has been an unfortunate trend in the Indian media of  coddling ex-terrorists and separatist leaders who are hand-in-glove with violent Pakistani jehadis. By giving a virtual free ride to these criminals and murderers, sections of the Indian media have become  instrumental in providing an undeserving respectful cover to them.

BBC, in its Yasin Malik interview on HardTalk show, has shown the way for asking tough questions about past history of terrorism to these self-annointed leaders. We hope that the Indian media will take a cue from this interview and not hesitate to dig into the murderous past of terrorists-turned-leaders.
