Kashmir News Network - Press Releases |
|
For Immediate
Release Kashmir News Network November 24, 2002
Kashmir News Network condemns latest massacre in
Jammu and demands prompt retaliation from India. More than a year after September 11, 2001, Pakistan continues to be the largest state sponsor of terrorism. How is that possible in this changed international environment? Pakistan continues to supply other rogue nations, such as North Korea, with nuclear weapons, and gaining missiles in return. Its US-supplied C-130s ferry nuclear designs to Pyongyang, then pick up missile parts for the return trip, under the watchful eyes of US satellites. After all, Iraq is close to being invaded on the conjecture that it will, some day in the future, provide WMD to terrorists. But in Pakistan, the center of global terrorism and proliferator of nuclear weapons, terrorists who are part of the government already have nuclear weapons, and are using them to back up their terrorist assault on India. US officials give the need for Pakistan's assistance in locating Bin Laden as the reason to go soft on that country. The State Department "experts" in Washington do not realize that's exactly Musharraf's game. Until he just keeps hinting at Osama's presence, US protection and support is assured for the terrorist dictator. And an unrestrained Pakistan has no reason to tell its jehadis to cool off. Israeli intelligence and several intelligence sources in Europe say he is in the Rub-al-Khali area of his native Yemen and that ISI helicopters shipped him out of Pak-Afghanistan in November last year itself. Locating Osama is a poor rationale for supporting Musharraf when Osama may not even be in Pakistan. India has no reason to allow its security to be mortgaged in this game of international deceit. Pre-emptive strikes are after all Bush's new mantra. India should immediately launch air strikes in Pakistan-occupied territory against terrorist camps. Then it can sit back and let the State Department "experts" in Washington work overtime to restrain their jehadi client, Pakistan.
